Comprehensive but heavy
The content is unmatched in depth and accuracy. My only minor complaint is the weight of the hardcover; it's not exactly a light read to hold in your lap while examining coins. Otherwise, perfect.

Worth every penny for the rarity charts alone
The grading standards and rarity charts included in this volume are incredibly helpful for valuation. It clears up a lot of confusion regarding fake vs. authentic strikes found in older references.

The definitive reference for Chinese silver dollars
This book is an absolute masterpiece for any serious collector of Chinese mechanized coinage. The photography is crisp, allowing you to see minute details of the dragon scales and lettering. Zhou and Shen have done an incredible job cataloging the varieties.
