Essential maintenance item
I keep a can of this next to my Bambu Lab A1 Mini. It prevents rust and keeps the linear rods gliding perfectly. Much better than using generic oils that attract dust.

Good value for money
Easy to use even for a beginner like me. The instructions were clear on how to apply it to the lead screws. My prints seem slightly smoother now, or maybe it's just peace of mind knowing the machine is maintained.

Works well, use sparingly
Great product for maintaining smooth motion on the rails. Just remember that a little goes a long way. I applied too much at first and had to wipe off the excess, but now the movement is buttery smooth.

Silenced the squeak instantly
After 6 months of heavy printing, my Y-axis started to groan. This lubricant fixed the issue in seconds. The non-greasy formula is key so it doesn't gum up the mechanics over time.

Perfect for my Bambu Lab X1C
My printer was making a slight squeaking noise on the Z-axis. A quick application of this on the lead screws silenced it immediately. The precision nozzle makes it very easy to apply exactly where needed without mess.

Standard for my workshop
I use this on all my motion systems, not just the Bambu printer. It displaces moisture effectively and provides excellent lubrication. Highly recommended for anyone serious about printer longevity.
Q: What is the difference between this and standard WD-40?
A: This is the classic WD-40 Multi-Use Product, which is ideal for cleaning, light lubrication, and rust prevention on printer mechanics. It differs from specialized heavy-duty greases which might be too thick for high-speed 3D printer movements.
Q: How often should I lubricate my Bambu Lab lead screws?
A: For average home usage, lubricating every 3 to 6 months is sufficient. If you run your printer 24/7 or in a dusty environment, you may need to inspect and reapply every 2 months or whenever you hear unusual noises.
Q: Does this leave a sticky residue that attracts dust?
A: No, this formula is designed to be non-greasy and dries quickly. It leaves a protective film that resists dust accumulation compared to heavier greases, keeping your rails cleaner for longer.
Q: Is this safe to use on the plastic parts of the 3D printer?
A: While primarily designed for metal components like lead screws and rails, WD-40 Multi-Use Product is generally safe on most hard plastics. However, we recommend applying it carefully only to the metal moving parts to avoid any potential softening of specific sensitive plastics over long-term exposure.
Q: Can I use this on the belt drives as well?
A: It is not recommended to lubricate timing belts. Belts are designed to operate dry; adding lubricant can cause them to slip or degrade the rubber material. Please restrict application to metal screws, rods, and rails only.
