Survived a heavy storm
We had some severe hail last week, and I was worried, but this polycarbonate sheet didn't even get a scratch. Much better than the acrylic I used on my previous project.

Easy DIY project
As someone who isn't a professional builder, I found this easy to work with. The instructions on UV side orientation were clear. Highly recommend!

Good value for money
Compared to local hardware store prices, this was a great deal. The 3mm thickness is perfect for smaller garden canopies where heavy snow isn't an issue.

Great quality, slightly tricky to cut
The material feels very sturdy and high quality. My only note is that you need a fine-tooth saw to cut it cleanly without chipping, but once installed, it's beautiful.

Perfect for my driveway carport
I used the 5mm sheet for my new carport and it looks fantastic. It lets in plenty of light but keeps the rain out completely. Installation was straightforward with the right tools.
Q: Is the 3mm thickness strong enough for a bicycle shed roof?
A: Yes, for a bicycle shed with proper framing support (rafters spaced no more than 60cm apart), the 3mm sheet is sufficient. If you expect heavy snow loads, we recommend upgrading to 4mm or 5mm.
Q: Which side of the sheet has the UV protection?
A: The UV protective layer is co-extruded on one side only. Please look for the printed masking film which indicates 'This Side Out' or 'UV Protected Side'. This side must face the sun.
Q: Can I use standard glass cutters to size these sheets?
A: No, standard glass cutters are not recommended. For best results, please use a circular saw with a fine-tooth carbide blade or a jigsaw with a plastic-cutting blade to prevent cracking or chipping.
Q: Does this product come with fixing screws?
A: The sheet is sold separately. However, we recommend using polycarbonate-specific thermal washers and screws to allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature changes.
Q: How do I clean the sheets without scratching them?
A: Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or rough scrubbing pads. Rinse thoroughly with water and let air dry.
