Works well but fan connector was loose
The hotend functions correctly, but the fan connector on the PCB felt a bit loose. I had to apply a tiny bit of super glue to secure it. Otherwise, printing performance is standard.

Great upgrade for beginners
As someone new to 3D printing, having a pre-assembled unit saved me a lot of headache. No need to fiddle with individual components. It just works out of the box.

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE
My original hotend started clogging frequently, so I ordered this upgrade. Installation was straightforward and took about 20 minutes. Prints are coming out smooth again with no under-extrusion issues.

Good quality but instructions could be better
The part itself feels very solid and well-machined. However, the included paper instructions were a bit vague. I had to watch a YouTube video to ensure I seated the heat break correctly. Once installed, it works great.

Solved my temperature fluctuation issues
I was experiencing wild temperature swings before swapping this in. This complete assembly stabilized everything immediately. Highly recommend keeping one of these as a spare.

Fast shipping and excellent performance
Arrived two days earlier than expected. The threading on the nozzle is perfect, and the fan spins quietly. My PLA and PETG prints look fantastic with this new head.
Q: Can I use ABS filament with this hotend?
A: Yes, this hotend can reach temperatures up to 260°C, which is sufficient for printing ABS. However, ensure your printer enclosure is suitable for ABS printing to prevent warping.
Q: Do I need to level the bed again after installing this?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to re-level your build plate and adjust the Z-offset after replacing the hotend assembly to ensure the first layer adhesion is perfect.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock for the heater block?
A: No, this specific assembly does not include a silicone sock. You will need to purchase one separately if your current one is damaged or if you prefer using one.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CR-6 or only the SE version?
A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR-6 SE model due to differences in the mounting bracket and wiring harness. It is not directly compatible with the non-SE CR-6 without modification.
