Works as advertised
I was nervous about installing this myself, but the included screws fit perfectly. My printer runs quieter now, and the temperature consistency is much better.

Great quality, tricky installation
The part itself is excellent quality, but aligning the fan ducts took some patience. Once installed, my print quality improved significantly due to better thermal stability.

Essential for Volcano setups
If you are running a Volcano hotend, this mount is mandatory. It provides the necessary clearance and support that the original plastic parts cannot offer.

Solid all-metal solution
Finally got rid of the plastic stock mount. This all-metal version is rigid and keeps the hotend perfectly aligned even during long prints. Worth every penny.

Good but needs minor filing
Fitment was slightly tight on my Ender 3 V2; I had to file down one edge slightly. After that modification, it works great. Just be prepared for potential minor adjustments.

Perfect upgrade for high-temp printing
This mount allowed me to switch to a Dragon hotend seamlessly. The aluminum construction feels very sturdy and handles the heat without warping. Highly recommended for anyone upgrading their Ender 3.
Q: Does this come with the cooling fan?
A: No, the package includes only the mount bracket, screws, and nuts. You will need to use your existing 4010 or 5015 cooling fan or purchase one separately.
Q: Will this affect the Z-offset calibration?
A: Yes, changing the hotend mount usually alters the nozzle height relative to the bed. You will need to re-calibrate your Z-offset after installation.
Q: What tools are required for installation?
A: You will typically need a hex key set (usually 2.0mm and 2.5mm), a small screwdriver for the fan, and potentially wire cutters if you need to trim any zip ties.
Q: Can I use this with a silicone sock on the hotend?
A: Yes, there is sufficient clearance in the design to accommodate a standard silicone thermal sock for most supported hotend models.
Q: Is this compatible with the stock Ender 3 hotend?
A: No, this mount is specifically designed for modified setups using E3D V5/V6, Volcano, Mosquito, or Dragon hotends. It will not fit the stock Creality hotend without additional modifications.
