Perfect for drills and warm-ups
I bought this primarily for hand-eye coordination drills before my games. The weight distribution is excellent, and it feels very balanced in the hands. It's not a heavy lumber piece, which is exactly what I needed for speed training.

Great quality, sleek design
The matte black finish looks really professional. I keep one in my car trunk for peace of mind, though I mostly use it for backyard practice. The grip is comfortable even when wearing gloves. Took off one star because the carrying case was sold separately.

Excellent for reaction training
As a coach, I recommend these for players working on swing speed. The reduced mass forces you to generate your own power while maintaining form. The Summit Dragon branding is a nice touch too.
