Beautiful finish and sound
The bamboo grain is gorgeous and the lacquer finish feels smooth. It produces a very sweet tone. It took me a day to get used to the breath control compared to my metal flute, but now I love it.

Perfect for my daughter's first flute
I bought this for my 10-year-old who is starting music lessons. The fact that it doesn't need a membrane makes it so much easier for her to maintain. The sound is beautiful and clear right out of the box.

No more tearing membranes!
I used to play standard Dizi but hated constantly replacing the delicate membranes. This Pixiu model solves that problem entirely while keeping the authentic bamboo sound. Highly recommended for gigging musicians who need reliability.

Great quality for the price
As a beginner adult learner, I was worried about the complexity of traditional bamboo flutes. This membrane-free version is fantastic. It holds tuning well and feels very sturdy. Only giving 4 stars because the case zipper is a bit stiff.

A: Use the included soft cleaning rod with a microfiber cloth. Gently insert it after each playing session to remove moisture. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
