Beautiful craftsmanship
The silk wrapping looks elegant and provides a good grip. The bitter bamboo gives it a distinct, warm timbre compared to synthetic flutes I've tried. Highly recommend for anyone starting their journey with traditional instruments.

Good starter flute with nice case
The included case is a nice touch and keeps the flute safe in my backpack. The only reason for 4 stars is that the membrane needed replacing after two weeks of heavy use, but spares were included.

Responsive and easy to blow
As an adult beginner, I was worried about breath control. This flute requires less air pressure than expected, making it easier to produce a consistent tone. The F key sounds particularly mellow and rich.

Great tone, minor finish imperfection
The acoustic quality of this bitter bamboo flute is excellent. It projects well even in a large room. I noticed a tiny scratch on the back, but it doesn't affect playability at all. Good value for the price.

Perfect for my daughter's first flute

A: For a 7-year-old, we typically recommend the G or F key. These keys have slightly shorter body lengths and hole spacing, making them more comfortable for smaller hands to cover completely.
Q: Does this flute come with the membrane already attached?
A: Yes, each flute arrives with a high-quality reed membrane pre-installed and ready to play. We also include an extra membrane in the package for future replacements.
Q: Is the bamboo treated to prevent cracking in dry climates?
A: Our bitter bamboo flutes are aged and treated with a natural lacquer finish to enhance durability and resistance to humidity changes. However, we still recommend storing the flute in its case when not in use in very dry environments.
Q: How do I clean the inside of the flute?
A: Use the included cleaning rod with a soft, lint-free cloth wrapped around the end. Gently swipe through the bore after each playing session to remove moisture. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners directly on the bamboo.
