Great value, minor tuning adjustment needed

The craftsmanship on this bitter bamboo flute is impressive for the price. I had to adjust the membrane slightly to get the perfect buzz, but once set, the F key sounds rich and resonant.

Lovely aesthetic and sound

Beautiful tone for a beginner

Exceeded expectations

A: The E Key requires slightly larger hand span and stronger breath control. For children under 10, we typically suggest the G Key or F Key models which have closer hole spacing.

Q: Which key would you recommend for a complete beginner adult?

A: For most adults, the G Key or F Key is recommended as they are easier to cover with average-sized fingers and produce a pleasant mid-range tone that is forgiving for beginners.

Q: Does this flute come with the membrane (dimo) already attached?

A: The flute comes with extra membranes and glue in the package. We recommend applying the membrane yourself to ensure it is tensioned correctly for your playing style and local humidity.

Q: How do I clean the inside of the bamboo flute?

A: Use the included cleaning rod with a soft, dry cloth wrapped around the end. Gently swipe the interior after each use to remove moisture. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners on the bamboo.
