Excellent gift for music students

Bought this for my nephew who is joining a traditional music club. He loves the bright sound of the G key. The packaging was secure, and the flute arrived in perfect condition without any cracks.

Beautiful tone and easy to blow

As an adult beginner, I was worried about breath control. This F key flute responds very easily. The membrane glue provided works well, and the case protects it nicely during transport to my lessons.

Good quality bamboo

The bamboo looks aged and high quality. It produces a warm sound. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instruction leaflet was only in Chinese, but there are many videos online to help.

Authentic sound from Fengyagong

I have played dizi for years and bought this for a friend. The tone is authentic and not too shrill, which is common in cheap student flutes. The Wang Jianhong signature model lives up to its reputation.

Perfect starter flute for my daughter

We bought the G key version for our 10-year-old. The sound is surprisingly clear for a student model, and the bamboo feels smooth and well-finished. It came with everything needed to start playing immediately.

Great value, minor tuning adjustment needed

Overall a solid instrument for the price. The craftsmanship by Wang Jianhong is evident. I had to adjust the cork slightly to get perfect intonation, but that is normal for bamboo flutes. Highly recommended for beginners.

Q: Does this come with extra membranes?

A: Yes, the package includes a small pack of spare reed membranes along with the special glue required to attach them to the membrane hole.

Q: Is the bamboo treated to prevent cracking?

A: Yes, the bamboo is naturally aged and treated with a protective lacquer finish to minimize the risk of cracking due to humidity changes, though we still recommend storing it in its case when not in use.

Q: How do I clean the inside of the flute?

A: Please use the included silk cleaning rod. Gently insert it through the body after playing to remove moisture. Do not wash the flute with water as it can damage the bamboo and the glue joints.

Q: Can I return this if the pitch is not accurate?

A: Absolutely. If you find any manufacturing defects regarding pitch or intonation within 7 days of receipt, you can initiate a return or exchange through our flagship store policy.

Q: Which key should I choose for a child under 12?

A: For children under 12, we generally recommend the G Key as the finger holes are spaced slightly closer together, making it easier for smaller hands to cover them comfortably.
