Perfect for my daughter's music class
This recorder is exactly what we needed for school. The German fingering makes it very easy for her to learn the basics quickly. The sound is clear and not too shrill.

Great value for beginners
Solid construction and plays well right out of the box. I appreciate that it can be used as both a 6-hole and 8-hole flute depending on the lesson requirements.

Excellent tone quality
I bought this for myself to relearn music. The tone is surprisingly warm for a plastic recorder, and it stays in tune very well across all octaves.

Good starter instrument
The finish looks nice, resembling wood but without the maintenance issues. It produces a pleasant sound, though absolute beginners might need a few days to get the breath control right.

Durable and easy to clean
As a music teacher, I recommend these to all my students. They are durable enough to withstand daily use by children and are very easy to clean with the included rod.

Highly recommended
Chimei really knows how to make quality recorders. This soprano model is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and the carrying pouch is a nice touch for protection.
Q: How do I clean the inside of the recorder?
A: Simply use the included cleaning rod with a soft cloth or gauze wrapped around the tip. Gently push it through the body joints after each practice session to remove moisture.
Q: Can I switch between 6-hole and 8-hole playing easily?
A: Yes, the instrument is manufactured with 8 holes, but the German style fingering allows it to be played effectively using the simpler 6-hole technique often taught in early education.
Q: Does it come with a case?
A: Yes, every recorder includes a soft carrying pouch to protect the instrument when not in use, along with a cleaning rod for maintenance.
Q: Is this recorder suitable for advanced players?
A: This model is specifically designed for elementary students and beginners. While it offers good tone, advanced players may prefer a Baroque-style wooden recorder for more complex repertoire.
Q: What is the difference between German and Baroque fingering?
A: German fingering simplifies certain notes for beginners, making initial learning easier, whereas Baroque fingering offers better intonation for advanced scales. This model uses the German system.
