Perfect for dorm rooms

Great volume, simple setup
Bought this for my daughter's high school year. It is definitely loud enough to wake a heavy sleeper. Setup was intuitive, though I wish the buttons were slightly larger. Overall, a solid purchase for students.

Good value for the price
Does exactly what it says. The progressive alarm is a nice touch for kids who get startled easily. The only minor issue is that the USB cable could be a bit longer, but that's an easy fix.

Finally, my son wakes up on time!
