Great starter tree
Easy to care for so far. The instructions included were helpful. Only giving 4 stars because the pot had a tiny scratch, but the plant is flawless.

Exceeded expectations
The extra-large fruit potential is exciting. The sapling is robust and seems very disease-resistant. Highly recommend for courtyard planting.

Good quality, fast shipping
Impressed with the packaging. The tree was well-protected. Waiting for it to settle before expecting fruit, but the growth looks promising.

Perfect for small spaces
I was worried it might get too big, but this dwarf variety is exactly what I needed for my patio. The golden variety description matches the listing.
Q: Can this tree survive indoors during winter?
A: Yes, as a potted dwarf variety, it can be moved indoors during freezing temperatures. Place it near a sunny window to ensure it gets enough light.
Q: When can I expect the first harvest of figs?
A: Depending on the age of the sapling and growing conditions, you may see a small harvest in the first year, with a more substantial crop in the second year.
Q: Does this variety require pollination?
A: The Bordeaux Golden Ao Fen Strela variety is parthenocarpic, meaning it produces fruit without the need for pollination, making it ideal for home gardens.
Q: Is the pot included suitable for drainage?
A: Yes, the extra-large pot comes with pre-drilled drainage holes to prevent root rot. We recommend placing a saucer underneath if kept on a patio.
Q: How often should I water this fig tree sapling?
A: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Typically, this means watering 2-3 times a week during hot summer months and less frequently in cooler weather.
