Beautiful Craftsmanship
The hand-carved details are stunning. It arrived well-packaged. I deducted one star only because the initial setup required some minor bridge adjustments, but once tuned, it sings.

Perfect Upgrade from Student Model

My Daughter Loves It

Solid Instrument

A: Yes, you can use metal or plastic-wrapped mallets for a brighter, sharper attack. However, please ensure they are designed for Yangqin to avoid damaging the strings or soundboard.
Q: What is the difference between the 401 and 402 models?
A: The 401 is designed for beginners with a slightly simpler bridge configuration and standard hardware. The 402 is a professional model featuring premium aged rosewood, enhanced soundboard bracing, and finer tuning mechanisms for advanced performance.
Q: How often do the strings need to be replaced?
A: For regular practitioners, we recommend changing strings every 6 to 12 months depending on usage intensity. Professional performers may change them more frequently to maintain optimal brightness.
Q: Does this instrument come with a stand?
A: The standard package includes the instrument, a hard case, tuning wrench, mallets, and extra bridges. A separate folding stand is sold as an optional accessory.
Q: Is the hard case waterproof?
