Great sound, case could be better
The hammers themselves are fantastic and produce a warm yet piercing tone typical of the Tian school. The included case is functional but a bit thin; I might upgrade it later.

Smooth delivery and quality product
Arrived well-packaged. The bamboo has a nice aged look and feel. Playing fast passages is much easier with these compared to my previous pair.

Authentic Tian Style

These hammers are beautifully made. The ebony heads provide a very clear and bright sound that cuts through the ensemble perfectly. The old bamboo feels sturdy and comfortable in hand.

A: Yes, the old bamboo handles are naturally aged and treated with a protective lacquer finish to enhance durability and prevent splitting.
Q: Does the free case fit two pairs of hammers?
A: The included case is designed to hold one pair of hammers securely. If you need to store multiple pairs, we recommend purchasing an additional multi-slot case.
Q: How do I maintain the ebony heads?
A: Simply wipe them with a soft, dry cloth after playing to remove oils and dust. Avoid using chemical cleaners or exposing them to extreme humidity.
Q: Can I replace the ebony heads if they wear down?
A: The heads are firmly glued and not designed for user replacement. However, with normal care, they are very durable and last for many years.
