Excellent projection

I use this for small ensemble performances. The volume and projection are impressive without being harsh. The mallets included are good quality bamboo, though I eventually upgraded to custom ones for specific pieces.

Exceeded expectations

Great value instrument

As a beginner, I was worried about spending too much. This Minyin 402 is solid. The sound is clear and sustain is decent. Only giving 4 stars because the case zipper feels a bit flimsy, but the instrument itself is excellent.

Beautiful craftsmanship

The finish on the rosewood is stunning. It looks professional on stage. My teacher approved of the intonation right out of the box. Highly recommend for students moving from practice instruments to something more serious.

Perfect for my music exam

Good starter pro model

Very happy with this purchase. It stays in tune well after the initial stretching period. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the instruction manual could be more detailed regarding bridge placement adjustments.
