Great sound, heavy unit
The acoustic properties of this drum are fantastic. Just be aware that the 1-meter model is quite heavy, so you definitely need two people to move it around. Otherwise, a perfect purchase for professional use.

Incredible presence on stage
The 1.2-meter dragon drum is absolutely massive and sounds even better than it looks. The cowhide head provides a deep, thunderous boom that fills the entire concert hall. Setup was straightforward with the included stand.
Q: What type of mallets do you recommend for this drum?
A: For the deepest bass tone, we recommend large felt-headed mallets with wooden handles. For sharper attacks during fast rhythms, traditional wooden drumsticks work well on the cowhide surface.
Q: How long does assembly take upon delivery?
A: The drum arrives mostly assembled. You typically only need to attach the drum to the vertical stand using the provided bolts, which takes about 10-15 minutes with two people.
Q: Can I replace the cowhide head if it wears out?
A: Yes, the drumhead is replaceable. We sell genuine cowhide replacements specifically cut for our 18-inch, 24-inch, 1-meter, and 1.2-meter models. Please contact us with your specific diameter for ordering.
Q: Is the paint on the dragon design durable for outdoor use?
A: The design is sealed with a weather-resistant lacquer suitable for outdoor performances. However, we recommend storing the drum indoors when not in use to prolong the life of the wood and hide.
