Sturdy but heavy
The quality is excellent and it feels like it will last for decades underground. It is a bit heavy to carry from the truck to the trench, but that weight indicates good material density.

Perfect fit for my irrigation project
This valve box was exactly what I needed for my backyard sprinkler system. The thickened walls feel very durable, and it fit my 6-inch valve perfectly without any modification.

Easy installation
As a homeowner, I was worried about installing this myself, but the design is very intuitive. The bottom opening is wide enough to work around the pipes comfortably.

Survived winter freeze
Installed last fall and we had a harsh winter. The box did not crack or shift despite the frost heave. Very impressed with the structural integrity.

Great for commercial use
I've installed dozens of these VB708 units for a local park. They stack well, the extensions are easy to add, and the green color blends nicely with the turf once installed.

Good value for money
Compared to other brands, this offers better wall thickness for the price. The lid sits flush and doesn't rattle when cars drive over the driveway above it.
Q: How deep can this valve box be installed?
A: While the standard height covers most applications, you can purchase additional extension rings to reach depths of up to 24 inches or more.
Q: Can I paint the lid if I need it to match a specific surface?
A: While the green finish is UV stabilized, you can paint the lid with plastic-compatible outdoor paint if specific camouflage is required.
Q: Can this box accommodate a 12-inch valve without buying a different model?
A: Yes, the VB708 is designed with a versatile internal diameter that comfortably fits 6-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch valves.
Q: Is the lid included in the package or sold separately?
A: The standard package includes one body, one extension ring, and one matching green lid ready for installation.
Q: Is this material resistant to root intrusion?
A: Yes, the high-density polyethylene construction provides a solid barrier against tree roots and soil shifting.
