Great protection for valves
Keeps dirt and debris out of the valve well effectively. The 6-inch diameter is standard and works with all my current valves. The green color blends nicely with the grass.

Good product but lid sits high
The box itself is great quality, but the lid sits slightly higher than my old boxes, which requires a bit more trimming of the sod around it. Otherwise, it does the job well.

Saves time on repairs
The quick water take-off feature is a game changer. I no longer have to struggle to access the valve during winterization. Solid construction and good value.

Durable and easy to install
The plastic feels very sturdy and should hold up well against lawn mowers. Installation took about 15 minutes. Only giving 4 stars because the lid can be a bit tight to snap on initially.

Exactly as described
Received exactly what was pictured. The VB708 model is robust and the included take-off device is a nice bonus. Will be ordering more for the rest of the zone.

Perfect fit for my irrigation system
This valve box fits perfectly over my existing solenoid setup. The quick take-off device makes maintenance much easier than digging around manually. Highly recommend for any landscaper.
Q: Can this withstand heavy vehicle traffic?
A: This model is designed for light-duty applications such as pedestrian areas and turf. It is not rated for heavy vehicle traffic or driveways.
Q: How do I remove the lid if it gets stuck?
A: The lid has a dedicated key slot. You can use a standard valve key or a flat-head screwdriver inserted into the slot to gently pry the lid open without damaging the unit.
Q: What is the depth of the well section?
A: The well section is designed to accommodate standard solenoid valves and typically provides adequate depth for most 6-inch valve installations, though exact burial depth depends on your specific piping layout.
Q: Is the quick take-off device compatible with all valve brands?
A: The quick take-off device is designed to work with standard industry solenoid valves. However, we recommend checking your specific valve manifold dimensions before purchase to ensure a perfect fit.
Q: Does this box come with the lid included?
A: Yes, the VB708 Valve Box comes complete with a snap-on lid featuring a key slot for easy access.
