Essential spare part
If you own a Zortrax, keep one of these in your drawer. When the original fails, you don't want to wait weeks for a replacement. This is a direct drop-in.

Good quality, instructions could be better
The parts feel solid and well-machined. However, the included paper guide was a bit vague. I had to watch a YouTube video to get the tension right on the thermistor.

Perfect fit for my M200
My old heater block was corroded, and this kit replaced it seamlessly. The nozzle alignment was spot on, and I was printing within an hour of installation.

Works but arrived slightly bent
The functionality is fine, but the heating cartridge leads were bent upon arrival. I had to carefully straighten them before installation. Works okay now.

Restored my printer to factory specs
After months of under-extrusion issues, swapping this assembly fixed everything immediately. Temperature stability is excellent now.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: This kit comes with a standard brass nozzle. For abrasive filaments, we recommend purchasing a hardened steel nozzle separately and installing it onto this heater block.
Q: Does this kit include the silicone sock for the heater block?
A: No, this kit includes the metal heater block, nozzle, thermistor, and heating cartridge only. The silicone sock is sold separately.
Q: How long does the heating cartridge last?
A: Under normal usage conditions, the heating cartridge should last for several years. Failure is often due to physical damage or power surges rather than wear and tear.
Q: Is this compatible with the Zortrax Inventure?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the M200, M200 Plus, M300, and M300 Plus models. It is not compatible with the Inventure series.
Q: What tools do I need to install this?
A: You will typically need a hex key set (usually 2mm and 2.5mm) and possibly a small wrench to remove the fan shroud, depending on your specific printer configuration.
