Good value for money
For the price, you can't beat the quality. The locking mechanism is secure once extended. My only minor complaint is that the holster could be slightly more robust, but the baton itself is top-notch.

Sturdy but requires practice
The build quality is excellent. It took me a few tries to get the flick-wrist motion right to extend it quickly, so I recommend practicing before you actually need it. The grip is comfortable even with gloves on.

Perfect for my daily walks

Reliable deterrent
