Lovely sound, small size
Just be aware this is a 'small' gong as described. It's great for personal use or small groups, but if you need something for a large hall, look for a bigger model. The tone is pure though.

Beautiful tone and craftsmanship
This small gong exceeded my expectations. The sound is incredibly clear and sustains perfectly for my morning meditation sessions. The flat bottom makes it very easy to place on a cushion without wobbling.

Great for beginners
I bought this to start learning about percussion instruments. It's the perfect size for home practice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the mallet felt a bit light, but the gong itself is fantastic.

Resonant and calming
The 'Cloud Gong' description fits perfectly. The sound washes over the room beautifully. It arrived well-packaged with no dents or scratches. Highly recommend for sound healers.

Excellent build quality
You can tell this is hand-hammered. The finish is smooth, and the copper alloy produces a rich, warm tone rather than a harsh clang. It's become a centerpiece in my studio.

Perfect gift for musicians
Bought this for my daughter who plays in an experimental band. She loves the unique timbre it adds to their tracks. The carrying pouch is a nice touch for transport.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?
A: This gong is made of copper alloy which can develop a natural patina when exposed to elements. While it won't break, we recommend indoor use or covered outdoor areas to maintain its polished appearance and prevent excessive oxidation.
Q: How do I clean the gong if it gets dusty?
A: Simply wipe it gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using chemical polishes or water, as these can strip the natural patina or affect the resonance of the metal.
Q: Can I use a regular drumstick on this gong?
A: While you can, we strongly recommend using the included soft-headed wooden mallet or a yarn-wrapped beater. Hard plastic or wood drumsticks may produce a harsher sound and could potentially damage the surface over time.
Q: Does this gong come with a stand?
A: No, this model features a flat bottom designed to sit securely on tables, cushions, or the floor. A separate stand is not included but can be purchased separately if needed.
Q: What is the difference between the 'Black Dog' and 'Cloud' finishes?
A: The names refer to traditional stylistic patterns and patina treatments. The 'Cloud' finish typically has a lighter, swirling oxidation, while 'Black Dog' features a darker, more uniform antique look. The acoustic properties remain similar across styles.
