Great quality copper
Stripped a sample to check the conductor quality. It is genuine oxygen-free copper, not copper-clad aluminum like some cheaper brands. The twist rate is consistent which helps with signal integrity.

Perfect for industrial RS485 networks
Used this cable for a long-distance sensor network in a factory. The shielding is excellent and eliminated all the noise issues we were having with unshielded wire. Highly recommended for serious installations.

Reliable signal over long distances
Ran 200 meters of the 0.5mm² 2-core version for a gate controller. Signal remains strong and stable even with nearby motor interference. Exactly what I needed for my project.

Solid cable, slightly stiff
The build quality is top-notch and the shielding works well. The only minor downside is that the 1.0mm² version is a bit stiff to work with in tight junction boxes, but that's expected for this gauge.
Q: Can I use this for Ethernet (CAT5/6) applications?
A: No, this is an RVVSP cable designed for RS485 serial communication. It does not meet the specific twist ratios and performance standards required for Ethernet networking. Please use dedicated CAT5e or CAT6 cables for Ethernet.
Q: Does the shield need to be grounded at both ends?
A: For RS485 applications, it is generally recommended to ground the shield at one end only to prevent ground loops, unless specific local electrical codes or equipment manufacturers state otherwise. Always consult your device manual.
Q: Is the color coding standard for all core counts?
