Good quality but tight fit
The build quality is excellent and feels very sturdy. The only reason for 4 stars is that the thermistor connector was a bit tight, requiring some careful maneuvering to seat properly.

No more clogs

Essential for abrasive materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass fiber or metal fill, this is a must-have. The hardened steel nozzle holds up much better than the standard brass one.

Perfect upgrade for carbon fiber
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber PLA, and it works flawlessly. Installation on my P1P was straightforward and took less than 15 minutes.

Solid performer
Works well with my X1 Carbon. The heat break seems efficient, and temperature stability is good. Just make sure to run the flow calibration after installation.
Q: Can I use this with regular PLA without changing settings?
A: Yes, you can use regular PLA. However, we recommend running the automatic flow calibration in the printer settings after installation to ensure optimal extrusion rates.
Q: Do I need any special tools to install this?
A: You will need the hex key provided with your printer and potentially a small pair of tweezers to handle the thermistor connector. No specialized soldering is required.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this hotend assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1 Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. It is not compatible with the A1 or A1 mini models due to different mounting mechanisms.
Q: Does this come with a new silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes one new high-temperature silicone sock to protect the heater block during printing.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for this hotend?
