Exceeded expectations for an intermediate instrument
I've been playing for five years and needed an upgrade. This instrument offers projection and clarity that rivals much more expensive models. The sustain is excellent, and the included hard case is very sturdy. A fantastic value.

Beautiful craftsmanship

Solid choice for exams
My teacher recommended this model for my upcoming conservatory audition. The tone is balanced across all four strings, and the volume is sufficient for a small hall. I deducted one star only because the included picks were a bit thin for my taste, but the instrument itself is top-notch.

Great sound, minor setup needed
The 'Xian Xia You Yu' model looks stunning and sounds rich. I had to adjust the bridge slightly upon arrival to get the action perfect for advanced techniques, but once set up, it plays beautifully. The wood grain on the back is gorgeous.
