Excellent resonance for the price
I upgraded from a beginner model to this Dunhuang 561 and the difference is night and day. The iron pear wood provides a warm, deep tone that projects well in larger rooms. Highly recommended for students moving to an intermediate level.

Beautiful aesthetics and sound
Visually, this pipa is gorgeous. The lacquer finish is flawless. Sound-wise, it is bright and clear. I gave it 4 stars only because the shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the product itself is perfect.

Great instrument, minor setup needed

Authentic Dunhuang quality
As expected from the Dunhuang brand, this pipa is consistent and reliable. The 560M model has a very balanced sound across all four strings. It handles fast tremolo techniques with ease.
