Great value tool
Works well on small jade pendants. It's comfortable to hold and doesn't wear out quickly. Took off one star because the blue side shed a little bit initially.

Good for detail work
Excellent for reaching tight corners on intricate carvings. Not ideal for large flat surfaces, but that's not what it was designed for.

Perfect for Bodhi beads
This block made polishing my Star-Moon Bodhi bracelet incredibly easy. The transition between the two grits is smooth, and I achieved a mirror finish in no time.

Beginner friendly
As someone new to polishing stones, this tool made the process very forgiving. I didn't scratch my project, and the result looked professional.

Essential for wax seals
I use this primarily for beeswax seal stamps. It buffs the surface beautifully without melting the wax due to friction heat. Highly recommended.

Compact and effective
Small enough to fit in my pocket but tough enough for serious grinding. The sponge texture provides just the right amount of give for curved surfaces.
Q: What is the difference between the yellow and blue sides?
A: The yellow side features a coarser grit (approx. 600) for initial shaping and removing imperfections, while the blue side is finer (approx. 1200) for smoothing and pre-polishing.
Q: How do I clean the block if it gets clogged?
A: Simply rinse the block under running water and gently scrub with a soft brush to remove debris. Let it air dry completely before next use.
Q: Can this be used with water?
A: Yes, this polishing block is designed to be used both wet and dry, which helps reduce dust and heat during grinding.
Q: Is this suitable for metal polishing?
A: While primarily designed for stone, wood, and wax, it can be used on soft metals like copper or brass, though dedicated metal files may yield faster results.
Q: Does it come in different sizes?
A: Currently, this specific model is only available in the standard 3.5 x 2.0 inch size, which is optimized for handheld precision work.
