Good value but fan is a bit loud
The hotend works great and maintains temperature well. My only complaint is that the included cooling fan is slightly louder than the original one, but performance makes up for it.

Works well but instructions could be better
The part itself is high quality and fits my CR-10 perfectly. However, as a beginner, I found the wiring diagram a bit confusing. Once installed though, it prints flawlessly.

Saved me hours of troubleshooting
My old hotend kept clogging. Swapping in this pre-assembled unit solved the issue immediately. The V6 volcano design allows for much better layer adhesion on large prints.

Perfect upgrade for high speed printing

Excellent thermal stability
I've been running this at 24V for ABS prints and the thermal stability is impressive. No more temperature fluctuations causing layer shifts. Highly recommended for upgraded setups.
Q: Do I need to update my slicer settings for the volcano nozzle?
A: Yes, because the melt zone is larger, you may need to adjust your retraction distance and print temperature slightly compared to a standard nozzle.
Q: Does this come with a nozzle installed?
A: Yes, the assembly comes with a standard brass nozzle pre-installed, but we recommend checking the tightness before first use.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this can handle?
A: The V6 volcano heat block is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, suitable for most common filaments including PLA, PETG, and ABS.
Q: Can I use this with 2.85mm filament?
A: No, this specific model is designed exclusively for 1.75mm filament. Using 2.85mm will cause severe clogging and damage.
Q: Is the thermistor compatible with Marlin firmware?
A: Yes, it uses a standard NTC 100K thermistor which is fully compatible with default Marlin firmware configurations for Ender 3 and CR-10.
