Great value for professionals too
Although marketed for beginners, the sound quality is good enough for small folk performances. The resonance is excellent, and the rosewood adds a nice depth to the higher notes.

Solid choice for folk music
The tone is bright and piercing, typical of a good Yueqin. The included case is a nice bonus. Setup took a little time to get the action just right, but once done, it plays beautifully.

Exceeded expectations
My daughter started learning traditional instruments last year. This Yueqin is lightweight enough for her to handle but sturdy enough to withstand daily practice. Highly recommended for students.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The instrument looks stunning with its glossy finish. As a beginner, I find the neck comfortable to hold. The only reason for 4 stars is that the strings needed replacing after a month of heavy practice, but that is normal.
