Great for damp weather
I live in a rainy city and most lubricants wash off too quickly. This solid wax sticks well even after riding through damp streets. No more metallic grinding sounds from my hardware.

No dirt attraction

Silenced my squeaky trucks instantly
My old longboard was making embarrassing noises every time I leaned into a turn. Applied this solid lubricant to the pivot cups and kingpin springs, and the difference is night and day. Completely silent now and the ride feels smoother.

Solid performance
Good product for eliminating friction noise between metal and urethane components. It doesn't make the board faster per se, but it definitely makes the carving motion much more fluid and quiet.

Easy to apply for beginners
I was worried about messing up my board maintenance, but this is just like applying chapstick to the metal parts. Very straightforward instructions and it stopped the annoying spring noise immediately.

Works well but needs reapplication
Does exactly what it says regarding noise reduction on PU bushings. I had to reapply after about three weeks of heavy daily use, but that's expected for a solid wax. Much cleaner than using oil.
Q: Can I use this on my skateboard bearings?
A: This product is specifically formulated for pivot cups, kingpin springs, and bushing interfaces. For bearings, we recommend using a dedicated bearing cleaner and speed cream for optimal performance.
Q: Is this product eco-friendly?
A: Yes, the Land Surfboard Lubricant uses a non-toxic paraffin blend that is biodegradable and safe for the environment. It contains no harsh solvents or petroleum distillates.
Q: How often do I need to reapply the lubricant?
A: Frequency depends on usage and weather conditions. For average riders, reapplying every 3-4 weeks or whenever you hear squeaking return is sufficient. Heavy riders or wet conditions may require more frequent application.
Q: Will this damage rubber or urethane bushings?
A: No, our formula is safe for all common skateboard materials including rubber, urethane (PU), steel, and aluminum. It will not degrade or swell your bushings.
Q: Can I apply this over old grease or oil?
A: For best results, we recommend cleaning off old grease, oil, or dirt with a rag before applying the solid lubricant. This ensures proper adhesion and maximum noise reduction.
