Good but cord could be longer

The pot works as described and cooks evenly. However, the power cord is a bit short for my kitchen layout, forcing me to use an extension cord. Functionality is great though.

Great value, minor design flaw

Cooking performance is excellent for soups and stews. The only downside is that the handle gets slightly warm after an hour of continuous use, so I recommend using a towel. Otherwise, it's a solid purchase.

Sleek and efficient

Best hot pot experience

We used this for a family hot pot dinner and it maintained a perfect simmer throughout the meal. The capacity is generous enough for four adults. Very happy with this Yamamoto product.

Solid everyday cooker

Been using it daily for oatmeal and pasta for three weeks. No issues with the coating peeling or sticking. Temperature control is intuitive. Would give 5 stars if it came with a glass lid.

Q: What is the maximum temperature setting?

A: While specific degrees are not marked on the dial, the 'High' setting reaches approximately 200°C (392°F), suitable for boiling and rapid cooking.

Q: Can this be used for deep frying?

A: It is suitable for shallow frying and pan-frying. We do not recommend deep frying large quantities of food as the 4.5L capacity may pose a splatter risk.

Q: Does it have an automatic shut-off feature?

A: The unit does not have an automatic timer shut-off, but it includes overheat protection that will cut power if the temperature exceeds safe limits.
