Perfect replacement for my CR6 SE

My old hotend was clogging constantly. This upgrade solved the issue immediately. Temperature stability is excellent and prints are coming out crisp.

Significant improvement in flow

Upgraded from the stock head and the difference in extrusion consistency is night and day. Highly recommend for anyone experiencing under-extrusion.

Robust construction

Very impressed with the machining quality. The threads are clean, and the heating cartridge fits snugly. No leaks or issues after 20 hours of printing.

Works but runs hot

It functions correctly, but I noticed the fan has to work harder to keep the heat break cool compared to the original. Might need to adjust cooling settings.

Good quality, slightly tricky install

The part itself feels very solid and well-made. Installation took a bit longer than expected because the wiring harness was tight, but it works great now.

Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can safely reach?

A: The assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 260°C, which is suitable for PLA, PETG, and ABS filaments.

Q: Is this compatible with the standard CR-6 SE or only the SE version?

A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR6 SE model. Please verify your printer model before purchasing as pinouts may differ for other versions.

Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?

A: No, this package includes the hotend assembly, nozzle, and heating cartridge only. The silicone sock is sold separately.

Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed?

A: Yes, the NTC 100K thermistor comes pre-installed and secured within the hotend block, ready for immediate installation.

Q: Do I need to recalibrate my E-steps after installing this?

A: Recalibration is generally not required if you are replacing like-for-like. However, we always recommend running a flow rate test to ensure optimal print quality.
