Great conversation piece
While not legal tender, this is a beautiful novelty item. The Statue of Liberty depiction is respectful and well-executed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the protective capsule was slightly loose, but the coin itself is perfect.

Nice but not real silver
Just a reminder to buyers: this is plated zinc alloy, not solid silver or gold. That said, for the price, it's a decent decorative item. The relief work is good, but don't expect investment-grade quality.

Exceeded expectations
I was worried it might look cheap in person, but the craftsmanship is excellent. The edges are smooth, and the inscription is clear. It's a wonderful addition to my collection of US-themed memorabilia.

Stunning detail for the price
I bought this to celebrate the upcoming bicentennial and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The color printing on the relief is sharp, and the gold plating looks very authentic. It sits nicely in my display case alongside other commemoratives.

Vibrant colors and heavy feel
The colors really pop against the metallic background. It's a great way to commemorate the 250th anniversary before it even arrives. Fast shipping and exactly as described in the photos.

Perfect gift for my grandfather
My grandfather loves American history, and he absolutely loved this medallion. The packaging made it feel premium, and the weight of the coin feels substantial in the hand. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a patriotic gift.
Q: Can I use this as actual money in the US?
A: No, this is a novelty item and commemorative medallion. It is not legal tender and cannot be used for financial transactions.
Q: What are the exact dimensions of the coin?
A: The medallion has a diameter of 40mm (approximately 1.57 inches) and a thickness of about 3mm. It fits standard 40mm coin display cases.
Q: How is the color applied? Will it fade easily?
A: The color is applied using a high-quality printed enamel process over the relief. While it is durable for display purposes, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals or excessive friction to maintain the finish.
Q: Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: This item is a decorative collectible and does not include an official government certificate of authenticity like bullion coins. It does come in a protective capsule and velvet pouch.
Q: Is this coin made of real gold or silver?
A: No, this is a commemorative medallion made from zinc alloy with a gold-colored plating. It is not composed of precious metals and holds no face value as currency.
