Great quality, slightly smaller than expected
The quality of the Thuja wood is outstanding, and the carving is smooth with no rough edges. It is slightly smaller than I imagined from the photos, but still a wonderful hand-held item.

Perfect gift for wood lovers
Purchased this for my father who collects wooden crafts. He was thrilled with the rich color and the traditional gourd shape. The packaging was also very secure and elegant.

Beautiful addition to my desk
I bought this as a cultural display piece for my home office. The oil content in the wood gives it a lovely sheen without looking artificial. It's the perfect size for holding during moments of stress.

Lovely texture and finish
The natural oil finish makes the wood feel incredibly smooth. It has become my favorite fidget object. I deducted one star only because the shipping took a bit longer than anticipated.

Authentic Taihang Mountain wood
As someone familiar with aged woods, I can confirm this feels like genuine old Thuja. The grain patterns are unique and the scent lingers pleasantly in the room where I keep it.
Q: How strong is the aroma? Is it overwhelming?
A: The aroma is mild and sweet, characteristic of aged Thuja wood. It is not overpowering; rather, it is noticeable only when you hold the piece close or are in a small, enclosed space.
Q: What is the best way to clean this wooden gourd?
A: Simply wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water, chemical cleaners, or alcohol, as these can strip the natural oils and damage the wood finish.
Q: Does this gourd come with a stand for display?
A: This item is primarily designed as a hand-held piece. It does not include a stand, but its flat base allows it to sit securely on most flat surfaces like desks or shelves.
Q: Can this be used outdoors or will weather damage it?
A: We recommend keeping this craft indoors. Exposure to direct sunlight, rain, or extreme humidity changes can affect the natural oils and cause the wood to crack over time.
Q: Is each piece identical to the photos shown?
A: Since this is a hand-carved item made from natural wood, there will be slight variations in grain patterns, color tones, and exact dimensions. Each piece is unique, though the overall design remains consistent.
