Beautiful but requires break-in
These are gorgeous walnuts with amazing texture. They felt a bit rough initially, which is expected for high-grade unpolished nuts, but after a week of playing, they are smoothing out nicely. Great purchase.

Perfect symmetry
Finding a pair this well-matched in terms of size and weight is rare. The Four-Pavilion structure is very pronounced. It feels great in the hand and looks even better on the display stand.

A worthy investment
Bought this as a gift for my father who loves traditional hand pieces. He was thrilled with the quality and the certificate of authenticity. The packaging was also very secure and elegant.

Exquisite craftsmanship for serious collectors
The detail on the Lion's Head pattern is absolutely stunning. You can tell these were hand-selected by a master. The weight is perfect for Apple Orchard style play, and the grain depth suggests they will patina beautifully over time.

Great sound and feel
The acoustic quality when clicking these together is superior to my previous pair. The only reason for 4 stars is the price, but given the 'Intangible Heritage' label and actual quality, it seems justified.

True Millstone Grade quality
I have been collecting walnuts for ten years, and this pair stands out. The density is incredible, producing a crisp sound when played. The Kirin pattern is subtle yet distinct. Highly recommended for enthusiasts.
Q: What does the 'Kirin Pattern' refer to in this context?
A: The Kirin Pattern refers to the specific natural grain formation on the shell that resembles the scales or mane of the mythical Kirin creature. It is a highly sought-after aesthetic feature in Qingxiangtai walnuts.
Q: Is the velvet pouch included large enough for storage?
A: Yes, the included velvet pouch is specifically sized to hold this pair of Four-Pavilion walnuts comfortably without scratching them. It also has a drawstring closure for security.
Q: Are these walnuts suitable for beginners or just experts?
A: While these are premium grade, beginners who are serious about learning the Apple Orchard style can certainly use them. However, due to their density and intricate texture, they are primarily designed for experienced players who appreciate fine details.
Q: Can I return these if the weight difference between the two nuts is noticeable?
A: Our master selectors ensure minimal weight variance. However, if you receive a pair where the difference exceeds our strict tolerance levels, please contact us within 7 days for an exchange or refund.
Q: How should I clean and maintain these walnuts?
A: For Millstone Grade walnuts like these, we recommend dry brushing with a soft natural bristle brush to remove dust. Avoid water or chemical cleaners. Regular hand play is the best way to develop the natural patina.
