Beautiful but slightly smaller than expected
The quality is undeniable, and the oil content makes it shine beautifully. It was just a bit smaller than I imagined from the photos, but still a great purchase.

Lovely natural finish
No artificial coatings, just pure polished wood. The dragon coils around the gourd very naturally. Took off one star because the cord included was a bit thin.

Perfect size for a hand piece
It fits perfectly in the palm. The wood feels smooth and warm to the touch. I love the subtle scent of the Thuja wood.

Great gift item
Bought this as a gift for my father who collects wooden carvings. He was thrilled with the intricate dragon design and the sturdy gourd shape.

Authentic aged wood
You can really feel the density of the old material. The patina is developing nicely after a few weeks of handling. Highly recommended for collectors.
Q: What are the exact dimensions of the gourd?
A: The gourd measures approximately 5.5 cm in height and 3.8 cm in width at its widest point. Please note that slight variations may occur as each piece is hand-carved.
Q: Does the dragon symbol have any specific cultural meaning?
A: In traditional culture, the dragon represents power, strength, and good fortune, while the gourd symbolizes health and longevity. Together, they make a auspicious combination.
Q: Is the wood treated with any chemicals or varnish?
A: No, our Taihang Thuja pieces are finished naturally without chemical varnishes or synthetic treatments to preserve the authenticity of the aged wood.
Q: Does this pendant come with a chain or cord?
A: Yes, it includes a simple adjustable cotton cord suitable for wearing as a necklace. You can easily replace it with your own preferred chain.
Q: How should I care for the Thuja wood to maintain its shine?
A: Simply handle it regularly with clean hands; the natural oils from your skin will help maintain the luster. Avoid exposing it to excessive water or direct sunlight for long periods.
