Beautiful ornamental addition
Even before harvesting, the large leaves and unique fruit shapes make this a stunning addition to my patio garden. Can't wait to cure them.

Excellent germination rate!
I planted ten of these seeds and nine sprouted within a week. The vines are vigorous and the gourds are forming with that classic narrow-waist shape perfect for crafting.

Perfect for Wenwan projects
These seeds produce exactly the shape described. I am growing them specifically for polishing and carving later this year. Very happy with the quality.

Great seeds, needs space
The seeds are high quality and healthy. Just be aware that these plants get huge! Make sure you have a strong trellis or plenty of ground space.

Authentic Eight Treasures variety
Hard to find this specific narrow-waist variety locally. These seeds are genuine and produced beautiful, symmetrical gourds. Highly recommended for collectors.

Good instructions included
As a beginner, I appreciated the care guide included in the package. My first gourd is already hanging on the vine. Lost one seed to birds, but the rest are doing well.
Q: Do you offer a guarantee if the seeds don't sprout?
A: Yes, we stand by our seed quality. If your germination rate is below 80% under proper conditions, please contact us within 30 days for a replacement or refund.
Q: What is the best time of year to plant these?
A: Plant these seeds outdoors after all danger of frost has passed and soil temperatures have reached at least 70°F (21°C). In most regions, this is late spring to early summer.
Q: Can I eat the gourds grown from these seeds?
A: While some gourd varieties are edible when very young, this specific 'Eight Treasures' ornamental variety is primarily bred for crafting and decoration. We recommend using them for ornamental purposes only.
Q: How long does it take for the gourds to dry after harvesting?
A: Depending on humidity and size, drying typically takes between 2 to 4 months. You will know they are ready when they feel lightweight and you can hear the seeds rattle inside.
Q: Are these seeds suitable for growing in pots?
A: Yes, they can be grown in extra-large pots (at least 15 gallons), but you will need to provide a sturdy trellis for the vines to climb.
