Good but stiff initially
The quality is undeniable, but the hat was quite stiff out of the box. It took a few weeks of wearing it to break in properly. Now it sits well on the head.

Stunning craftsmanship for collectors
The detail on the Kirin pattern is incredible. The machine-brushed patina gives it an authentic aged look that fits perfectly with my traditional martial arts gear collection.

A true work of art
This is more than just a hat; it is a collectible piece. The brushed patina finish looks very realistic and the stitching on the animal motifs is flawless.

Unique Four Towers design
I have never seen a hat with the Four Towers and Wheat Ear combination before. It stands out immediately. The walnut color is rich and deep.

Perfect addition to my uniform
Matches my official uniform perfectly. The lion head detail adds a nice touch of authority. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their practice attire.

Great for practice sessions
Very comfortable to wear during long practice forms. The hemp material breathes well. The only reason for 4 stars is that the tiger head embroidery is slightly smaller than I expected from the photos.
Q: Does the 'Walnut' color refer to the material or just the dye?
A: The term 'Walnut' refers to the specific deep brown dye color applied to the hemp blend fabric, mimicking the tone of walnut wood.
Q: Is this hat suitable for actual sparring or just forms practice?
A: This hat is designed primarily for forms practice (Kata/Taolu) and ceremonial use. We do not recommend wearing it during full-contact sparring to preserve the embroidered details.
Q: Can the inner band be adjusted for a larger head size?
A: Yes, the hat features an internal adjustable strap that can accommodate head circumferences ranging from 56cm to 60cm comfortably.
Q: How do I clean the machine-brushed patina without damaging it?
A: To maintain the patina finish, please only use a soft, dry cloth for dusting. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with water, but avoid soaking the fabric or using harsh chemicals.
Q: What does the 'Four Towers' symbol represent in this context?
A: In this traditional design, the Four Towers typically symbolize stability, direction, and the four pillars of martial virtue, though interpretations can vary by school.
