Good quality, slight fit issue
Material feels solid and premium. Had to tighten it a bit more than expected to get a good seal, but no leaks since.

Reliable upgrade
No more clogs since switching to this heatbreak. The stainless steel conducts heat well without overheating the filament.

PTFE wears fast
Good metal component, but the PTFE tube inside wore out after about 5kg of filament. Expect to replace the tube periodically.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 hotend?
A: No, this heatbreak is specifically designed for the E3D Kraken Single-Head system and is not compatible with the V6.
Q: Can I use abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber with this?
A: We do not recommend using abrasive filaments as they may wear down the PTFE tube and stainless steel faster than normal.
Q: How do I replace the PTFE tube if it wears out?
A: The tube can be gently pulled out once the heatbreak is cool. Insert a new 1.75mm PTFE tube ensuring a tight fit.
Q: What is the maximum temperature limit for this part?
A: Due to the PTFE feed tube, we recommend a maximum operating temperature of 240°C to prevent degradation.
Q: Does the package include thermal paste?
A: Thermal paste is not included. Please ensure you apply high-quality thermal compound during installation for best results.
