Great quality, slightly different tone

As expected from Dunhuang, the build quality is excellent. The tone is a bit brighter than my full-sized instrument, which is normal for a shorter scale, but it stays in tune very well.

Compact powerhouse

Don't let the size fool you; this little zither projects sound really well. The rosewood gives it a warm aesthetic that looks great in my apartment. Highly recommend for city dwellers.

Authentic Dunhuang quality

I own a larger Dunhuang concert model, and this portable version maintains the same high craftsmanship. The bridges are smooth, and the wood grain on the rosewood is stunning.

Good value

Very happy with this purchase. It came pre-strung and mostly in tune. I only had to make minor adjustments. The carrying case is padded nicely which gives me peace of mind.

Perfect for travel!

I needed a guzheng that I could easily take to my lessons on the subway. This 1-meter model fits perfectly in the included bag and sounds surprisingly full for its size. The rosewood finish is beautiful.

Excellent beginner instrument
