Perfect for freeing up phone space
This drive works exactly as advertised. I transferred all my photos from my Android phone in minutes and now have plenty of room left. The dual interface makes it super easy to move files between my laptop and phone without cables.

Fast and reliable
Transfer speeds are impressive for the price point. It feels sturdy and well-made. Only giving 4 stars because the cap for the USB-A end is a bit loose, but overall a great purchase.

Solid performance
Works great with my MacBook and Samsung tablet. The read speeds are very fast, though write speeds are average. For the amount of storage you get, it is definitely worth the money.

Good but gets warm
The drive functions well and the capacity is accurate. However, it does get noticeably warm during large file transfers. Not hot enough to be dangerous, but something to be aware of if you are moving hundreds of gigabytes at once.
Q: What is the actual usable space out of the box?
A: Due to formatting and system files, a 256GB drive typically shows approximately 238GB to 240GB of usable space. This is standard for all flash memory devices.
Q: Does it come with any encryption software?
A: The drive is plug-and-play and does not include proprietary encryption software. However, it is fully compatible with third-party encryption tools like BitLocker (Windows) or FileVault (Mac) if you wish to password-protect your data.
Q: How durable is the metal casing?
A: The zinc alloy casing is designed to resist daily wear and tear, minor drops, and dust. While it is robust, we still recommend using the protective caps when not in use to prevent damage to the connectors.
Q: Can I use this to run apps directly from the drive?
A: While you can store app installation files or move media assets, most mobile operating systems do not support running applications directly from external USB storage for performance and security reasons. It is best used for media storage and file transfer.
Q: Is this compatible with iPhones?
A: This specific model features a USB Type-C connector and a standard USB-A connector. It is designed for Android devices, PCs, and Macs. For iPhones with a Lightning port, you would need a separate adapter or our Lightning-specific model.
