Compact and fun
Love that it collapses down so small. We take it everywhere in the car just in case we spot a good fishing spot. The colors are vibrant and my daughter thinks it looks cool.

Good but line tangles easily
The rod itself is sturdy and cute, but the pre-spooled line tends to get tangled if you cast too hard. Once we replaced the line with a better quality one, it worked much smoother.

Perfect first rod for my son!
My 7-year-old absolutely loves this little rod. It's lightweight enough for him to hold comfortably, and the reel is very easy for small hands to operate. We caught three bluegills on our first trip to the pond!
