Perfect for my home office setup
I bought the Cat6 version to connect my desktop to the router. The connection is rock solid, and I'm finally getting the full gigabit speeds I pay for. The cable feels durable and the connectors click in securely.

Great quality but a bit stiff
The build quality is excellent and it looks professional behind my desk. The only minor downside is that the double-shielded Cat6A version is a bit stiff to route around tight corners, but it stays in place well.

Good value for money
Solid cable for the price. I used the 15m length to run internet to my garage workshop. Signal strength is perfect. Took off one star because the packaging was a bit difficult to open without damaging the twist ties.

Streaming in 4K without buffering
My smart TV was constantly buffering 4K content over Wi-Fi. Plugged in this Cat5e cable (all I needed for 100Mbps) and now everything loads instantly. Simple and effective solution.

Zero lag, highly recommended
Switched from Wi-Fi to this Cat7 cable for gaming. The difference is night and day. No more packet loss or latency spikes during ranked matches. Worth every penny.
Q: Does this cable support Power over Ethernet (PoE)?
A: Yes, all UGREEN Ethernet cables in this series support PoE standards (including PoE, PoE+, and PoE++), allowing you to power devices like IP cameras and access points through the same cable.
Q: What is the difference between the unshielded and double-shielded versions?
A: Unshielded (UTP) cables are flexible and sufficient for most home environments. Double-shielded (SFTP) cables have additional foil and braiding to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI), making them ideal for industrial settings or areas with many electronic devices.
Q: Is this cable suitable for outdoor use?
A: These specific models (NW108/NW109) are designed for indoor use. For outdoor installations, we recommend using our UV-resistant and waterproof outdoor-rated Ethernet cables to ensure longevity.
Q: Will the Cat7 cable work with my Cat5e router?
A: Yes, Ethernet cables are backward compatible. You can use a Cat7 cable with a Cat5e router, modem, or device. The connection will simply operate at the maximum speed supported by your router (Cat5e speeds).
Q: Are the gold-plated connectors necessary?
A: Yes, the 24K gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and ensure a stable, high-conductivity connection over time, which helps maintain signal integrity and prevents data transmission errors.
