Good quality, slight sizing issue
The build quality is excellent and the torque rating seems accurate. Just make sure to measure your shaft diameter precisely before ordering; I had to reorder a size up.

Essential for servo precision
We use these in our educational robot arms. The soft connection protects the encoder from shock loads during emergency stops. Very durable.

Perfect for my CNC upgrade
Installed these on my X and Y axes. The elastic element absorbs the vibration perfectly, and the threaded connection makes alignment much easier than rigid couplers.

Robust and reliable
Been running this on a high-speed spindle for three months now. No wear on the spring element yet, and zero backlash detected. Great value for the price.

Works but instructions were vague
The product itself works fine, but the included torque specs for the set screws were hard to read. Had to look up standard values online to be safe.

Handles misalignment well
My motor mount wasn't perfectly aligned, and this coupling handled the angular misalignment without any binding or excessive heat. Highly recommended for DIY projects.
Q: Do I need special tools to install the threaded set screws?
A: No, standard hex keys (Allen wrenches) corresponding to the screw size listed in the manual are sufficient for installation.
Q: Can this coupling handle oil exposure in a machine shop environment?
A: Yes, the aluminum alloy and treated spring steel are resistant to common cutting oils and coolants, though prolonged submersion is not recommended.
Q: What is the maximum RPM this coupler can sustain?
A: While dependent on the specific shaft balance, this model is generally rated for speeds up to 4,000 RPM under normal operating conditions.
Q: Does this come in different colors besides black?
A: Currently, this specific high-torque model is only manufactured with a black anodized finish to ensure optimal corrosion resistance.
Q: Is the elastic element replaceable if it wears out?
A: The elastic insert is press-fitted and not designed to be user-replaceable. If worn, we recommend replacing the entire coupling unit for safety.
