Q: What shaft tolerance do you recommend for the 60mm inner diameter?
A: We recommend a shaft tolerance of f7 or g6 for optimal performance with the 60mm ID bushings. Please consult our technical datasheet for specific fit charts.
Q: Do these require any initial lubrication before installation?
A: No initial lubrication is required. The embedded graphite plugs provide immediate self-lubrication upon movement. However, a thin film of oil can help during initial break-in.
Q: What is the recommended method for installation?
A: These bushings are designed for press-fit installation. Ensure the housing bore is clean and slightly chamfered to avoid damaging the bushing edge during insertion.
Q: Can these be used in underwater applications?
A: While the copper alloy has good corrosion resistance, prolonged submerged use is not recommended without additional protective coatings. Please contact us for marine-grade options.
