Soft and effective
Unlike other shielding fabrics I have tried, this one is actually soft enough to wear next to skin if needed, though I use it for bag linings. The silver weave is consistent and high quality.

Perfect for DIY Wallet Liner
I used this fabric to line a leather wallet I was making. It is surprisingly soft and easy to sew despite the metallic content. My phone no longer connects to Bluetooth when inside the wallet, which gives me peace of mind.

Good quality, slightly stiff at first
The shielding seems effective based on my signal meter tests. The fabric was a bit stiff out of the roll but softened up after the first gentle wash. Great for making protective pouches.

Excellent for travel bags

Great product, careful washing needed
The fabric works well for blocking signals. Just remember to follow the hand-wash instructions strictly; I accidentally put a scrap in the machine and it lost some conductivity.

Q: How many layers do I need for complete signal blocking?
A: For most consumer applications like wallet linings or phone pouches, a single layer is sufficient to block standard RFID and GPS signals. For higher frequency attenuation, two layers may be preferred.
Q: Does this fabric block 5G signals?
A: Yes, the conductive silver fibers are effective at attenuating a wide range of radio frequencies, including those used by 4G and 5G networks, though effectiveness can vary based on the number of layers used.
Q: Will washing this ruin the shielding properties?
