Good quality but sticky fingers
The shielding works as advertised for my electronics hobby box. Just make sure to wear the included gloves because the adhesive gets everywhere if you touch it directly.

Excellent signal blocking
Wrapped my Wi-Fi router antenna partially to direct the signal better, and it made a noticeable difference in coverage direction. Very effective nano-conductive layer.

Reliable EMI protection
Used this to shield a motor controller from interfering with nearby sensors. Problem solved immediately. The flexibility of the cloth makes it great for irregular shapes.

Works well for small enclosures
Great product for lining small plastic boxes to create Faraday cages. I deducted one star only because the sheets are a bit smaller than I expected for larger projects.

Perfect for DIY RF projects
I used this to line a small enclosure for a sensitive radio receiver, and the noise floor dropped significantly. The adhesive is strong and the material is easy to cut with standard scissors.

Top notch for interference issues
As an amateur radio operator, I deal with RFI constantly. This tape cleaned up my station's background noise instantly. Highly recommend for any serious hobbyist.
Q: Does this block 5G signals effectively?
A: Our testing shows significant attenuation in the sub-6 GHz 5G bands. However, shielding effectiveness can vary based on installation quality and gaps in coverage.
Q: Is this safe to use inside a laptop casing?
A: Yes, provided you apply it to non-heat-generating components and ensure it does not short-circuit any live circuits. It is designed to withstand typical operating temperatures of consumer electronics.
Q: Can this tape be painted over without losing conductivity?
A: While you can paint over the non-adhesive side, we recommend leaving the conductive surface exposed or ensuring electrical contact points remain accessible for grounding purposes.
Q: Can I cut this with regular household scissors?
A: Yes, the material is flexible and can be easily cut with standard scissors. We recommend cleaning the scissors afterward to remove any adhesive residue.
Q: How do I ground this material for best results?
A: For optimal EMI/RFI protection, the cloth should be connected to a common ground point using conductive epoxy or a mechanical fastener that penetrates the adhesive layer to touch the fabric.
