Perfect for Faraday cage lining
Used this to upgrade an old server rack into a temporary Faraday cage. The conductivity is consistent across the entire roll. Highly recommend for professional applications.

Good quality but stiff
The shielding properties seem robust based on my multimeter tests. However, the material is stiffer than regular cotton, so it takes some getting used to when draping for curtains.

Reliable for interference reduction
Purchased multiple yards for our prototyping lab. It effectively isolates signals between adjacent workstations. Great value compared to pre-made shielding panels.

Solid performance
Tested it against Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals; the drop in strength is significant when wrapped. Just be careful not to crease it too sharply as it might affect the fiber integrity over time.

Excellent for DIY RF Projects
I used this fabric to line a small box for sensitive electronics testing. The signal reduction is noticeable immediately on my spectrum analyzer. Easy to cut and sew with conductive thread.

Works as described, aesthetic is industrial
Does what it says regarding signal blocking, but the metallic grey look is very industrial. Not ideal for living room decor unless you plan to cover it with another layer.
Q: Can this fabric be washed in a standard washing machine?
A: We strongly recommend hand washing only. Agitation in a standard machine can damage the conductive silver fibers and reduce shielding effectiveness over time.
Q: How do I connect two pieces of this fabric to maintain conductivity?
A: To maintain electrical continuity between pieces, you should overlap them by at least 2 inches and sew them together using conductive thread or use conductive adhesive tape designed for EMI shielding.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity for custom widths?
A: Custom widths are available for orders exceeding 50 meters. Please contact our sales team directly for a quote on bulk customizations.
Q: Is the material fire retardant?
A: The base polyester blend has standard flame resistance properties suitable for general indoor use, but it is not certified as a specialized fire-retardant material for high-risk environments.
Q: Does this block 5G signals specifically?
A: Yes, the material is tested to provide attenuation across a broad spectrum including sub-6 GHz 5G frequencies. Effectiveness may vary slightly depending on the specific band and layering.
